Agriculture Today is a daily program featuring Kansas State University agricultural specialists and other experts examining ag issues facing Kansas and the nation. It is hosted by Eric Atkinson and distributed to radio stations throughout Kansas and as a daily podcast.

00:00:00 — Grain Market Update:  K-State grain market economist Dan O'Brien comments on the market upshot from the trade tariffs on China which were implemented yesterday, and he looks ahead to the USDA's prospective plantings report coming out next week, during his weekly segment on the grain market trends.

00:11:30 — Kansas Ag Mediation Can Help:  Staff attorney with Kansas Agricultural Mediation Services at K-State, Forrest Buhler, reports on a significant rise in that program's activity during the current farm economy squeeze, reminding how the program can help producers work through their credit complications.
