Agriculture Today is a daily program featuring Kansas State University agricultural specialists and other experts examining ag issues facing Kansas and the nation. It is hosted by Eric Atkinson and distributed to radio stations throughout Kansas and as a daily podcast.

00:01:30 – Livestock Market Update:  The director of the Livestock Marketing Information Center, Jim Robb, is featured on this week's cattle market segment:  he talks about the rebound in the cattle trades last week, and shares the LMIC's forecast on red meat and poultry production in 2018 and 2019, which he says will keep up the pressure to maintain domestic and export demand for beef.
